William Forbes is the dedicated specialist behind Big Cats Fishing Oklahoma, bringing decades of local insight to every trip on the water. His history with these lakes began in childhood, where he spent countless hours mastering the nuances of the local currents and fish behavior. Over the years, that initial curiosity evolved into a deep-rooted expertise that he now shares with every guest who steps onto his vessel. For William, fishing has never been just a hobby; it is a lifelong study of the environment and the species that call it home, ensuring that his guests benefit from a guide who truly understands the pulse of the lake. What truly sets William apart is his genuine commitment to the success of others. Long before launching his professional career as a local fishing guide, he frequently invited friends and newcomers onto the water simply for the joy of the catch. There is a specific sense of pride he feels when helping a novice angler secure their first massive catfish. This passion for teaching and sharing the sport is what motivated him to establish his own business, focusing on providing a professional and supportive environment where anyone, regardless of their skill level, can feel confident in their ability to land a significant catch. Specializing in the northern reaches of Grand Lake o' the Cherokees, William has spent years scouting and documenting the most productive locations along the shoreline.
